How long does the booking process take?

Whether the reservation is two days or two months away, we hold the payment until 24 hours after check-in before giving it to the host. This hold gives both parties time to make sure that everything is as expected.

What methods of payment accepted?

To give you the highest security, currently Stripe is the only available payment option that we offer at the moment. We will be adding more in the future.

What do I do if I receive a tax statement?

Depending on your account status, the tax payer information you have submitted to My Rental Hu, and other factors you may recieve a tax form. As always, we encourage you to consult a tax professional for assistance reporting your income.

Booking Questions

Can I make changes to a pending reservation request?

Yes. If the request hasn’t been accepted by the host, you can widthdraw the request and send a new one with the updated reservation details.

How do I check the status of my reservation?

You will find this information once you log into your profile and navigate to your dashboard.

How do I find my reservation?

You will find this information by logging into your dashboard.

When am I charged for a reservation?

Your payment information is collected when you submit a reservation request. Once the host accepts your request, or if you book the reservation with instance book, your payment method will be charged the entire amount at that time (except in the case of a security deposit).

Help on your reservations

What happens if my host cancels my reservation?

If your reservation is cancled by your host, we’ll automatically give you a full refund. You can check the status of your refund in your transaction history.

What is the Resolution Center?

The Resolution Center lets you request or send money for things related to your trip. To open a refund please contact us at Support@portertechsolution.com

What should I do if I forgot something at a place I stayed?

If you left something behind at the place you stayed, message your host directly for help. If you need to have an item sent to you, you can send your host money to cover the shipping directly through the resolution center.

Should I book if I have not heard back from the host?

Once you have find a place to stay, we recommend messaging the host to doublecheck the availability of the space for your dates.

How do I share trip details with others?

Simply share your trip link with your guests or invite them.
